    With targeted  packages in the £30,000.00 to £35,000.00 range for workshop and site work combinations.

    We are looking to expand our manufacturing base with a 3 year development plan and require experienced professional Bench Joiners. With a culture of continual investment and improvement for the business along with a development program that supports the company’s vision of being the best in its chosen market sectors.     The Requirement

    It is important that you have joinery manufacturing experience from industry sectors such as Interior Fit out, Shop Fitting, Office Fit out, Furniture Production, Refurbishment, High End Residential or similar areas.  A recognised joinery apprenticeship or training program is an important feature of this role along with other supportive training or certification that relates to the industry. You will have the ability to understand production schedules, technical drawings and be able to work under your own initiative producing your own cutting schedules, component parts and assembled finished joinery details. It is a must that you have a clear understanding of timber based raw materials including properties and applications and be able to demonstrate accuracy in measuring and cutting raw materials to ensure optimum usage and minimum wastage. You will be asked to demonstrate competent use of our full range of woodworking machinery  and like wise use of hand held power tools. 

    The Package

    Standard hours of work (40 Hours) will be Monday – Thursday 7am to  4.00 pm and 7.00 am – 1.00 pm Friday  Flexibility when requested for additional overtime hours is necessary. Rates of up to £12.00 and £16.00 will be available across the various positions and be dependant on experience and responsibility. Separate allowances for onsite away from home work will available. Workwear will be provided.
